The city of Walnut in California is located west of Diamond Bar and north of Anaheim. The city is situated in Los Angeles County and forms part of the metropolitan area of Long Beach. Walnut has a population of 29,172 residents, as stated by a 2010 population count, and is known for its natural beauty and hills, providing a more peaceful ambience than the surrounding cities. The original settlers in the city were the Shoshone origin of Indians.
