With a small population of 5,073, Willits in Mendocino County, California, is a town not too far from Sacramento. This town is best known for it headquarters of the Californian Pomo Indians and as the final home of the much adored, championship horse, Seabiscuit. This is a small town in terms of geographical area and population size , but it is far from being secluded. In addition to being close to Sacramento, it is also close to the city of Reno in Nevada. This city actually donated it to California in 1955 and it has been a part of that landscape since then.

The opportunities for economic growth and business development in Willits are fleeting. The main source of employment is the local hospital and the main form of business here is growing medical marijuana. Because of the many marijuana fields, Willits is not exactly the most welcoming place for tourists. Yes.
